  • Hiding your Satanic Faith from the Public

Hiding your Satanic Faith from the Public

    Satanic Discrimination
A question was asked in my chatroom and I felt that it was definitely worth further discussion here at my blog:

Q : “Do you hide your faith in front of public to a degree of denying it publicly or do you admit, when others ask?

Great question! I think whether you hide your personal beliefs is a matter of what situation you are in and how it could affect your future. In my case there have been years where I openly wore my pentagram necklace and really had no problems with it. When people asked, I explained that I am Pagan and if they were open to that idea or even knew what it was, then we could possibly have a discussion about Satanism.

Most people’s reactions are surprise. “But you’re such a nice person!” they will say. To that, I reply, “Yes, I’m real. Satanism is real, and its probably not what you think”. If they want to have a discussion beyond that, it’s fine with me. They perhaps do not realize that Satanists come from all walks of life, you never know when you’ll meet one!

I wear a pentagram tattoo on the back of my neck that I had done back in 2003; I am proud to wear it and it is in the kind of place that I can hide it if chose to, but I don’t always hide it.

In all its a good idea not to let people know too much about your business. All though you may be a proud Satanist there is far too much prejudice in the world, even in the United States where we have (supposed) freedom of religion.

Consider how hard it has been for Wiccans and Pagans to be public with their religion, and how they have had to fight just to gain a small portion of acceptance in society. It is this way because Satanism and other religions like it are in the minority and minority religions will always be excluded from popular acceptance. It’s unfortunate but that’s just how things are.

For further research I would like to direct you to two sources that you can read, so you can decide for yourself if coming out is the right thing to do for you.

  • Commentary on the Guardian Demon

    Commentary on the Guardian Demon

    Guardian Demon

The Guardian Demon is a concept that is discussed in Satanism at times. I have had folks ask me to help them to contact their own personal guardian, or ask me how to work with them. It must be that those who promote the idea of a guardian demon are conveniently seeking to lay the responsibility of teaching spirituality on something else rather than taking the time to aid you in a personal way.

The concept of the Guardian Demon in Satanism suggests that a demon can help you to learn spell working and magic, that it can help you with psychic or spiritual abilities – but these are the things that you could (and should) be pursuing on your own without the aid of some demon. There is no easy way to take on a spiritual path and to change your life in a spiritual way, and to suggest that all you have to do is contact a demon to magically do all these things for you is ridiculous.

Generally, demons are not teachers who will aid you with these things. In fact, learning how to perform magic or do other spiritual activities should be something that youĀ  learn on your own so that you have the necessary experience to actually summon a demon. Without this experience, you can not effectively or accurately communicate with the divine.

The concept of the guardian demon is something that was borrowed, quite incorrectly from the teachings of Aleister Crowley and the practice of Ceremonial Magick. In this system, the divine force of inner will is known as the “Holy Guardian Angel”. To assume that Satanists must copy this idea and reverse it, shows a lack of understanding of the methods of attaining conversation with one’s Holy Guardian Angel. It misses the mark entirely, making such ideas a waste of time.

There is no easy way out when it comes to learning how to do magic, or how to live a more spiritual life. It takes time and effort and dedication to one’s path. Lets face it, demons never have been, nor ever will be a personal guru. They are also not magic genies to ask wishes from. There is no spiritual being out there that will aid you in what you must do on your own.Ā  If that seems daunting – it should. Spiritual attainment is a life-long journey that at times may feel that it may never be complete.

Venus Satanas is, quickly becoming, a very popular Independent Satanist. She has a website, a blog, and most glaring, a youtube channel with over 2 thousand subscribers. She is currently very active on youtube, as well as has just put out a very interesting book about the Al-Jilwah not to mention has made her popular youtube videos available in DVD format. She’s even created an organization for Independent Satanists. In my opinion, her views and mine might conflict sometimes but I view her as a shining star of intelligent and careful thinking. Someone that could quite possibly make a very serious, real dent in the occult world in the future, if not now.

Below you will find links to her online projects as well as a interview. Enjoy!

    01. Who are you? What do you do? Please be specific as possible for this interview’s progress.

    Who Am I?
I would like to say that I am so glad to do this interview with you. I am Venus Satanas, and I am a spiritual Satanist. I have been a satanist since 1992, when i created a self-dedication pact with Satan. I was never raised in a christian home, so the acceptance of Satan had little to do with the rejection of Christianity. The dark side appealed to me, so i responded to it. I feel as if Satanism has been the perfect path for me, it has allowed me to achieve what I have wanted over the years.

In 2004, I decided to create a website, ā€œTheistic Satanism and Magickā€, a place where I could write about my experiences, and research topics related to Satanism, magic and the Occult. After a few years, the success of my website prompted me to create a channel on youtube, and now i have over two thousand subscribers, in the past two years. The response has been really good; but still, I am surprised that so many people are interested in Satanism.

I have never sought to join a group or organization. I think that organizations are great for some people, but I do my best work when I am solitary, when I am able to challenge myself. In the spirit of independence, I collaborated with a good friend of mine, and long time satanist, nocTifer in 2007. We created the Horde of Independent Satanist, a group for discussion on magic, satanism and the occult, among other independent satanists. We feel that nothing like this has been done before, as most groups try to get their members to follow one certain path. With HISS, we are a group of peers who have independent goals but we meet so that we can share ideas and discuss what is really important in satanism.

So, i suppose when you ask, who am I and what is my purpose, I can say that I am Satanist who is interested in furthering the education of satanists through my writing and through interaction with whomever is interested in learning.

    02. What makes one a ā€˜Spiritual Satanist?’ How does the Satanism you identify with differ from other brands of Satanism?

Spiritual Satanism is a spiritual appreciation of life, it is living in a spiritual existence, as compared to other forms of atheistic satanism that may only embrace a central belief in materialism. I like to think that the spiritual Satanist has the opportunity to experience the best of both worlds by appreciating both the spiritual and physical. For some this may be done through worship or other [metaphysical] activities that bring the Satanist closer to their goals and desires.

Also some Satanists who only identify with atheism use magic in a non-esoteric way, as a psychological approach where as some other, more spiritual satanist may identify the more arcane and spiritual aspects of magic.

    03. What does Satan mean to you? Is he an actual Being? Myth? Your senses? The hidden part of your mind? What does Satan mean to you and what do you mean to Satan? I’ve heard you wrote a
pact with him. Does this means he’s very real, substantial to you? A real live spirit? Or simply, as Anton Lavey put it, a metaphor?

I do not think that LaVey’s descriptions of Satan were simply as metaphor. He used examples throughout the satanic bible to illustrate the many different aspects of Satan, either as a god or as a symbol of human nature. To me Satan is one of many gods who were created by humans over a long period of time, and he represented different things throughout the ages. My pact with Satan established my identity as a satanist and ensured my loyalty to satanism.

    04. What would you do if another Satanic Panic broke out in the media and America? Would you remain quiet or would you try to take action against the ignorance of Satanism out there?

Wow! That would be something! I wouldn’t hide. I would continue my work to educate whoever is interested in my ideas on satanism. Their scaremongering tactics have no effect. With the freedom of information that is available now, and the world wide access to the net that many people who are Satanic have, i doubt that much would come from their attempts. Christians should fear the atheist movement even more as they pose a real danger to the foundations of their theistic beliefs.

    05. What is your favorite Sin, and why is it soo important to you? Has it brought your life much pleasure? Do you ever get ā€œtoo much of a good thingā€ with it? Can the Christian Sins we love to embrace ever grow old, too common place or just misplaced?

I do not have a favorite sin. Sin is not a part of my everyday living. I think the need to label activities and feelings as sin comes from attaching moral values to personal actions. As a satanist I am responsible for my own actions and myself, therefore I am in debt to nothing or no one for moral sins. I do agree that a balance is a good thing. We should seek to enjoy life without giving into reckless abandon that could potentially shorten our days on this earth.

As the moral values of a society change so do their views on what they consider to be taboo. So I do not believe the same ideas of sin that are common now, were common fifty years ago in America.

    06. Please explain, if you could, one example of both: Greater and Lesser magic working for you in your life.

For me, greater magic is ritual magic. it is a method of performing magic by using specific rituals that include gods or demons as an aid to influence the potential outcome. You could say that when I initiated my friend Angie into Witchcraft, and we both called upon the Goddess Athena in her favor, that we performed Greater ritual magic. My summoning experiences were a form of ritual magic that I developed to work with demons.

Lesser magic is the use of various spells; often these things are connected with simple magic, folk magic, talismans, etc. My most recent spell of this kind was a spell to ease the tension at my house between my cats. I have four of them and one of them used to fight with the other three. the tension was so bad at my house because of this that i decided to do something about it and cast a spell. I used candle magic to influence the outcome and it worked for me. Within a week the cat that would fight with the others slept next to the one that he fought with last week.

During the next month he slept next to the other cats, each in turn. This was something that I had waited for, for five years. My candle spell had eased the situation and made him willing to give in and accept the others into his life. It was wonderful! Now i have a peaceful home and I can thank some creative magic for this very beneficial outcome. A simple form of magic provided me with a solution to a very complex and ongoing issue. As you can see, the benefits of greater and lesser magic have their uses.

  • The Familiar Spirit and It’s Role in Satanism

The Familiar Spirit and It’s Role in Satanism

Today’s topic is an exploration of the familiar spirit in magic. A familiar is an animal that is more than just a pet; it is a companion in a spiritual and physical way that can protect you, comfort you, guide you and teach you in the ways of magic.

Although it is not necessary to have a familiar to be successful in magic or witchcraft, having one will enable you to add an extra layer in your practices.
Familiars aren’t often discussed in the context of Satanic magic or witchcraft. There is a feeling among Satanists in general that the practice of having a familiar belongs to the realm of paganism or Wicca. This is a misconception, because those that discount this kind of experience in their magic or witchcraft are missing out on the many benefits that having a familiar can bring. Satanism has no such rules or boundaries that apply to all Satanists.
    Witches Familiar
The cat is the most often chosen of these animals, for several reasons. Cats have an ancient history of being related to magic and the spirit world. It was the cat of ancient Egypt that was so revered that they had their own temples and were worshiped as gods. Cats have served their role in humanity by being protectors of our food sources, and were at one time a very important part of society. It wasn’t until much later in medieval times that cats (and black cats in general) became a symbol of the underworld. Cats were associated with witches as a liaison of the devil because of their nocturnal nature.

With all of this, during the era of the witchcraft trials, cats were hunted and killed alongside the innocents of the era. They became messengers of evil, smothering babies in their cribs in an age where people didn’t realize that cats just want a warm place to sleep. They became harbingers of death and misfortune. It is for this very reason that the black plague was able to spread so quickly. You see, cats being the hunters that they are, were able to keep the disease spreading populations of rats in check. Without the aid of cats, the rats of Europe were able to spread the plague quite readily. In their panic and fear of the unknown, cats were demonized not only for their past association with gods but for their nocturnal nature that must have seemed quite unnatural to humans in that age.Interviews

It is from this era that the idea of a familiar spirit that can aid a witch or magician developed. From its history it has changed into something wonderful that anyone of any path can tap into for its benefits. A familiar can be any kind of animal or creature that can aid you in bringing you closer to nature and the spiritual world. The idea of a familiar animal or creature can be felt in the best way when you are able to relate to that animal or creature in a personal way.

For example, I have a friend who is saving her money so that she can have a snake for a familiar. I know another person who has a spider for theirs. And its not unheard of to have a pet rat, ferret, rabbit, dog, or any kind of animal whether it is domesticated or not. A familiar will have a kinship with you that is deeper than just a pet and its owner can experience.

For instance, my familiar appears in my dreams at times and guides me in certain situations, enabling me to learn from him in a special and very spiritual way. My cat who is still very much a kitten at this stage, will be my guardian who will protect me by deflecting any harmful magic sent my way. He can join me in rituals and magic, with his presence allowing me to be drawn closer to the animal spirit and nature itself. He is my bridge between the physical and the spiritual in this way, acting as a gateway into the spirit world.

Animals are uncomplicated and feel emotions in a much purer way than humans do. They do not create prejudices in their minds, they love unconditionally, and they are able to feel the ‘spirit’ of a situation in a natural way. Other familiars I have had in the past were so close to me, that they had their own spot on my altar just for them. I have done magic with them, and on them.

I could tell many stories of how they helped me in rituals, and how they warned me about situations, and how I learned how to be closer to nature through them. They have made my life with magic and witchcraft so much richer! And what better way for Satanists, who generally gravitate towards earthly things than to have a special relationship with something that is so close to nature.

  • Symbols of Satanism – The Pentagram and Goat

Symbols of Satanism – The Pentagram and Goat

A Pictorial History of Magic at Amazon

The Bessy Pentagram [shown on right] is one of many versions of the Baphomet that is so familiar to Satanists. It was from the cover of the book known as A Pictorial History of Magic and the Supernatural (Amazon), written by Maurice Bessy. The symbol itself goes back much further than that but it had always been associated with Satan and the forces of the Underworld.

It is a known fact that LaVey drew up his own version of this pentagram and Baphomet from this book, and took from it the same elements of design, including the “Leviathan” word that encircles the symbol on this book. Due to the popularization of this symbol as ‘Satanic’ it is recognized worldwide as a symbol of Satanism, much like the adoption of the Roman Cross became a Symbol of Christianity after 400ad.

The controversy over this symbol extends to it’s copyright usage. While the Church of Satan claims to own copyright on this specific symbol, the simple truth is, that they do not. The original Bessy pentagram and all earlier versions of it are in the public domain. Public domain images can not be copyrighted. Now that it is an internationally recognized symbol of Satanism in general it is most certainly in the public domain as a religious symbol, which can not be copyrighted either. The Satanic Church does have their own specific version of this symbol which is known as the LaVeyan pentagram.

LaVey had little regard from which he took his inspiration from, piecing together his versions of Satanism from various odd sources. Within the Church of Satan the book written by Bessy was used as a prop, much like LaVey adopted the Bessy pentagram for symbolic purposes.
    From the COS website: [http://www.churchofsatan.com/Pages/BaphometSigil.html]

“In its early days, the Church of Satan used the version seen on the cover of the Bessy book on its membership cards and stationery as well as on the medallions which were created both by hand and by professional manufacturers.”

Samael and LilithThe ‘Leviathan’ spelled in Jewish letters surrounding the symbol came from an earlier versions of the Baphomet, found in various books. In the 1700’s there was a symbol of the Baphomet within a circle in the book ‘The History of Magic, Eliphas Levi‘. This symbol was paired with the upright pentagram, or as some call it, the pentacle, around this were the words ‘Samael and Lilith’ and it is often referred to as the Samael and Lilith Pentagram. Its purpose was to illustrate the unholy union of Samael, the Jewish angel of Death, and Lilith, the Queen of Demons in Jewish mythology.

All of these symbols – the goat and the names of Jewish demons, point to the obvious connection between Satanism and Judaism. Even deeper than its Christian association, the Judaic aspects of Satanism are represented by the Goat – known as Azazel. This creature was the Scapegoat of tradition, sacrificed to the wild, who carried the sins of the people. It became natural then to associate and contrast the Jewish goat with the Christian sheep, the natural reaction of Christians being that the goat represents evil, or the devil. This tradition has continued to this day.

  • Why Satanism Does not have Churches

Why Satanism Does not have Churches

    Satanic Church
Many people have come to me to ask me where they can find a local Satanic Church to worship at. It’s a shame that in this day and age we do not have any churches to go to, let alone groups that we can gather in, in person to come together in the name of Satan.

Other groups and organizations can be found worldwide, where you can contact them and easily find a local chapter, allowing you to talk with others in person regarding your faith. Wicca is a good example of this, at least here in America. You are able to go to any major city and find your local Wiccan organization and participate in festivals any time of the year.

Satanists do not have this luxury. Not only is Satanism part of a new religious movement, meaning that it still has room to grow socially, but there are so few of us out there that even if we did have the opportunity to gather together it would be a rare occurrence.

Most of us meet online, in chatrooms and in social networks. It’s safer for us as well, because despite our (supposed) freedom of religion, it would be too easy to attract attention from radical conservative groups who would want to make sure that our gatherings never happen.

So, Satanism has no brick and mortar churches to worship at. And, do we really want that anyway? Shouldn’t that kind of thing be reserved for the kinds of religions that rely on social gatherings and long-held traditions? Satanism isn’t reliant on those kinds of things, generally. It is supposed to be a personal experience. While you can share your experiences with others, generally you are on your own when it comes to your personal relationship with Satan.

  • 5 Ways to Get Closer to Satan

5 Ways to Get Closer to Satan

    Satan
Over the years one of the most important questions that I have been asked is how to develop a relationship with Satan. If you want to take a spiritual or religious approach with Satanism, having a relationship with Satan can be a rewarding experience, letting you know that Satan is with you every step of the way on your journey down the left hand path.

Nobody starts out in a religion knowing everything there is to know; nor do we have an intimate relation with our god as soon as we enter the gates of Satanism. A relationship takes time to cultivate. It can be likened to keeping a garden – you must plant the seed, water and feed it, keep the weeds out, and before you know it, you will have a beautiful garden to behold.

So here are some practical steps towards achieving your goals!

Develop a relationship – start small and work your way out from thereĀ
You should consider that a relationship with Satan is a personal experience, so what other people experience in Satanism, or don’t experience, may not be your own experience. Your mileage may vary! So in taking this into consideration, I can only offer generalities regarding a relationship with Satan, and discuss my own personal experience to give you some insight into the process as well.

My early years of Satanism were filled with worshipful rituals, Satanic music and transgressive acts. This is not so uncommon among new Satanists who are finding their place in the world. I would worship Satan on Saturday evening, gathering my tools and robes, and wondering out to the beach or in my room by the light of candles. It was an interesting experience. Because I am a spiritual person, I had always felt that all it would take would be for me to reach out to Satan [or any other god!] and that being would answer in return – so I never really took it on faith or hope that I would get results. I just threw myself into the work and got it done.Ā  The results never ceased to amaze me!!

One of the most important aspects of my ritual making was my pact with Satan. First done at the age of 13, I thought that my pact put me in a position of power to bargain with a being that was so hated in this world yet had so much power over it. I would not recommend this to new Satanists of course, because after all this time I can see how much power and energy is in a pact and how that can influence a young Satanist who has not yet learned the ropes yet.

So start out by spending the next year studying and practicing your rituals, and by then you should have a clearer view of what you want to do with your pact if you so decide to make one with Satan.

Study the history of Satan in past times and modern times too
The history of Satan is a long and winding road. It contains interesting insights into the character of Satan through the myths, legends and stories surrounding his name. Beginning with the early gnostics, and continuing to this day, people’s views of Satan have changed and evolved to mirror current events in history.

In developing a relationship with Satan, its important to consider the history that is behind the name. After all you would not want to get involved with someone if you didn’t know their history, their likes or dislikes, and what they are generally about, would you? That truly would be a leap of blind faith! I don’t recommend blind faith. I instead recommend that you study as much as you can about the history and character of Satan, both in past times and our modern views of Satan beginning with the Church of Satan.

Develop your own style of ritual – use others as a guide but do what pleases you
There are many examples of ritual to be found on the ‘net, and in books. Starting with the Satanic bible, we can see a simplified formula that many have found success with. A ritual is like a recipe, it contains essential ingredients that when put together create an interesting and symbolic experience.

Writing your own rituals is not so complicated. Its important to consider that just because a ritual has been used by others and it carries the powers and energies of those who worked with it before you, it is not necessarily the best formula for your particular situation.

Here is a basic template:Ā  Most rituals have an opening, a declaration of intent, and a closing. It really is this simple. For instance with an evocation/invocation of Satan, you could prepare your ritual space, make your ritual invocation, declare what you want out of your ritual, and then perform a closing or departing or a thanks at the end.

Realize that communication is a two way street, watch the signs.

Signs, you say? Yes, a common experience for Satanists is to have dreams about Satan. How much of this is their own psychology or imagination at work and how much of it is Satan in communication is difficult to say, as dreams are a personal experience. I know for my own life, the dreams that I’ve had about Satan have come at critical times and stages and they have guided me and kept me on the path of Satanism. But just because you don’t have a dream about Satan does not mean that he is not in communication with you.

Its important to just let go and enjoy your experience with Satanism, instead of obsessing over every little sign and symbol in your life. I’ve talked with new Satanists who’s imagination just goes wild, they think that energies are all around them and every bad experience in life is some way of Satan getting revenge on them for not following orders! Just remember that Satanism isn’t christianity and to my knowledge, Satan isn’t out there giving orders to people and is not seeking revenge on those who “disobey”.

Its important to keep perspective in this regard and to view your experiences as a part of the whole. Do not take your experiences for granted but don’t obsess over them, either. What you experience in Satanism will be a personal journey, unlike that of any other that you will meet in Satanism.

Don’t give up! it takes time to develop a relationship. Just like in real life it comes in steps
You can’t have a relationship with someone without first initiating contact, learning about that person and making an effort to make yourself a part of their life. Satan won’t come chasing after you and there is much work to be done in this regard especially when you are new to the path.

So take it a day at a time and don’t be hard on yourself, and remember that your experience won’t match what others have gone through. In the end you should make an effort to meditate on Satan or perform rituals in his name, to learn about Satan’s history, and to work at learning about Satanism every day for at least a year before you make a solid commitment one way or the other.

  • Internet Satanism – Is it Enough?

Internet Satanism – Is it Enough?

    Internet Satanism

Internet Only Satanism? Is it enough? This topic is often discussed in Satanist chatrooms.
Some of you may feel that its too difficult to be a Satanist while you are offline. While you are online, you can hide behind an identity, and talk with your Satanic friends. But offline you are faced with living in a world full of Christians and other peoples that will never share your beliefs. This article explores what can you do to remedy this, and it asks the fundamental question: is online Satanism good enough?

Let’s start by reviewing some facts. There are [potentially] thousands of Satanists. Indeed, our numbers are growing. But our social presence offline isn’t growing at all. There are no physical churches, no brick and mortar buildings that we can gather inĀ  to express our Satanism. The largest Satanic organization doesn’t even haveĀ  a physical church. Read my other blog post: Why Satanism Does not have Churches.

Mostly, we meet online where we discuss our satanism among ourselves. The anonymous nature of the internet allows us to do what we like, even build online presences and websites without our friends and family offline knowing who we are. In some ways this is very beneficial. We live in a world that is full of hatred it seems, where people have been killed over their religion just because it was something that people feared or disliked. It happens all over the world in religions other than Satanism.

Not all of us only have an online presence in Satanism. Some of us, myself included, also have an offline presence in Satanism. I wear my pentagram both on my body and as jewelry on a regular basis. My co-workers at my former workplace also knew that I was a Satanist. I have nothing to hide. I feel that I have to immerse myself in Satanism totally in order for me to really appreciate it. But I totally understand that not everyone can be like this.

There is a balance to be foundĀ  between both extremes- it means having the ability to bring Satanic philosophies and beliefs into your life. It means living by the virtues and vices that you hold dear. It means not sacrificing your self in order to please others all the time. Where there is a will, there is a way. You can also incorporate worship into your life, and ritual as well.

Being an online-only Satanist does not make you any less of a Satanist but it does prevent you from experiencing all the good things that Satanism has to offer. Perhaps try and diversify your efforts and you may see that you experience less stress in your life because you will start living for what you want. Isn’t that what matters in Satanism?

Independence Day, the Most Satanic Holiday of ALL!

What holiday is most associated with Satanism? Is it Halloween, where witches and black cats decorate homes? Or, is it as LaVey suggested in the Satanic Bible, the birthday that should be the most Satanic Holiday of all?

LaVey suggested that the most Satanic Holiday of all should be one’s own birthday. While that does make sense from a Satanic perspective, a person’s birthday isn’t something that we can all celebrate at once. It only happens once a year and while the birthday is a special day indeed, it holds no special significance for all of Satanism.

I think it’s fine. but I think also that we should focus on something that is more meaningful and relevant to all of us as Satanists, and that something is Independence Day!!

This summer on July 4th, I realized that Independence day celebrates all that it means to be independent. Historically it represents the celebration of independence from the British. First celebrated in 1776, this day of Independence can have a special meaning and important relevance for all of us as Satanists.

This holiday reminds us to cherish the freedoms that we are entitled to in America. The number one freedom that made Satanism possible is of course, freedom of religion. The constitution of America guarantees us certain ‘unalienable’ rights, such as life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, and what’s more Satanic than that?

Aren’t most of us as Satanists working towards finding that happiness everyday? Don’t most of us enjoy pursuing the religious freedom that affords us the opportunity to use Satanism as something worthy and worthwhile? And the enjoyment of life as one sees fit, that is certainly a Satanic attribute.

So on this Independence Day, let us be reminded that we have the opportunity to not only celebrate the birth of our nation, we also have the opportunity to celebrate the freedoms that make Satanism possible, and we additionally have the ability to enjoy life with Satanism in any way that we see fit.

As you enjoy your day today, think about what Independence means to you. I know what it means to me – it means that I am grateful to live in a great country that allows me to live the Satanic life that I cherish. I am proud to be independent, I am proud to be a Satanist, and I am proud to live in America! Celebrate!
